Mel Gibson's Apocalypto

This is a great movie packed with action and drama. The story itself is very intriguing because many of us are somewhat familiar with the Mayan Kingdom. This movie basically captures the downfall of this great civilization. The main character of this movie is Jaguar Paw, a young Mayan who sacrifices many things in order to protect his family. Everything he goes through pays off at the end when he reunites with his family. However, the movie ends with the Conquistadors arriving to the Island where the movie took place. I felt that this was a very powerful way to end this great movie.

Hello, my name is Miguel Fortuno. I am 19 years old and this is my second year at Frederick Community College. I will only need one more class after this semester to achieve my Associates Degree on Business Management. I am a full time student and currently have a part time job. I was born in Mexico but moved to the United States when I was 7 years old. I graduated from Tuscarora High School with Highest Honors in 2010. I worked at a fresh produce market in Poolsville, MD when I was 17 years old. After that job, I tried a few other but did not enjoy them at all. I have been working at PNC Bank since June 2011, it's a great job for many reasons and I am very pleased with it.
